Geographical Introduction of Victoria

Victoria is located on the southeast coast of the Australian continent. Its northwest is adjacent to South Australia and New South Wales respectively. It is the smallest continental state in Australia. The northeastern part is a mountainous area with towering peaks, mostly ranging from 1,000 to 2,000 meters in altitude. The southeastern part is home to vast forests, numerous caves and lakes. The western part features extensive hills and grasslands. It is known as the "Garden State" and is called the "microcosm of Australia". It is a traditional economic powerhouse in Australia. It is also the state with the densest population, the highest degree of industrialization and the most developed agricultural and pastoral production in Australia.

Climate characteristics

The four seasons in Victoria are opposite to those in the Northern Hemisphere. From September to November is spring, from December to February is summer, from March to May is autumn, and from June to August is winter. January and February are the hottest months in this state every year, with an average maximum temperature of 20℃ in mountainous areas, 25℃ in coastal areas and 35℃ in the northwest. The temperature is the lowest in July and August, with the average minimum temperature in various regions ranging from 0℃ to 8℃.
